~ Finding Eden by Mia Sheridan Review ~

22847812SynopsisFinding Eden is the continuation, and conclusion, to Becoming Calder.

When the world as you know it has ended, when all that you love has been washed away, where do you find strength?

When the new world you’ve stepped into is as isolating as the last, when your heart is broken, and your future is unclear, where do you find hope?

Finding Eden is a story of strength, discovery, forgiveness, and undying love. It is about believing in your destiny and following the path that leads to peace.

THIS IS THE SECOND PART, AND CONCLUSION, IN A TWO-PART SIGN OF LOVE SERIES INSPIRED BY AQUARIUS (BECOMING CALDER SHOULD BE READ FIRST). New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and graphic sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

daniell review5 star aThis book is the 2nd part of the Aquarius – Sign of Love series

In this book, the main characters again are Eden and Calder.  Both are trying to come to terms with what has happened in their lives and what their future is supposed to be.  The things that they have witnessed and gone through have left them questioning their faith in any God at all.

“How can I believe in any power that would allow that to happen? I can’t.”

“Maybe if you find the love in any situation, even the most horrifying ones, maybe that’s where God is.”

There are such emotional moments in this book.  Moments that are utterly breath-taking and heart-stopping. At times, it is difficult to keep reading, but there is no way to put this book down.  There are several twists and turns in this book that kept me hooked til the very end. Through it all, though, was the undeniable strength that Calder and Eden have both together and on their own. And the unconditional love that would bind these 2 together forever no matter where they are.

“As I thought about it, I realized that it would have been true. No matter where Eden and I had been placed together in this world, we would have fallen in love.”

I thoroughly enjoyed this series and will forever be a fan of Mia Sheridan.  There were times I was ugly-crying and other times that were more light-hearted and fun. Again, the secondary characters in this book were fabulous as well and I wouldn’t mind to hear more of their story.  I will never see or hear of a Morning Glory or butterscotch candy and not think of this wonderful story!!

~ Becoming Calder by Mia Sheridan Review ~

915DeeDNjqL._SL1500_SynopsisThere is a place in modern day America with no electricity, no plumbing, and no modern conveniences. In this place, there is no room for dreams, no space for self-expression, and no tolerance for ambition.

In this place, there is a boy with the body of a god and the heart of a warrior. He is strong and faithful and serves his family honorably. But he dares to dream of more.

In this place, there is a girl with the face of an angel and a heart full of courage. To her family, she is the vision of obedient perfection. But she dares to want that which she has been told can never be hers.

Becoming Calder is the story of good versus evil, fear versus bravery, and the truth that the light of love has always found its way into even the darkest of places . . . From the beginning of time, to the end of the world.

THIS IS THE FIRST PART IN A TWO-PART SIGN OF LOVE SERIES INSPIRED BY AQUARIUS. THE SECOND PART, FINDING EDEN, RELEASES SIMULTANEOUSLY. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and graphic sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

As Hector’s future wife, she lives in the Lodge with Hector, with all kinds of amenities such as electricity and running water. Eden isn’t supposed to mingle with the lowly workers of Acadia.  But Calder and Eden’s connection can’t be denied and over the years of their childhood, they are able to share some stolen moments together.  During these moments together, both Calder and Eden fall in love and begin to question Hector and the beliefs of Acadia and dream of a future together.

“I’m going to take you away from here, to a place where my bed is your bed, and my home is your home. And in that place, I’ll never be more than an arm’s reach from you.”

But what happens when Calder and Eden grow braver and try to escape Acadia? Will Hector just let Eden, his blessed one, go?

This book is AMAZING!! I have been a fan of Mia Sheridan’s since reading Leo and fell in love with Archer along with everyone else. However, this book is on a whole other level for me. There are times of such sweetness in this book, then other times of such evilness and sorrow. Calder and Eden show such strength through their unconditional love for each other and with that strength, they are able to fight against all they have known to have a future together.

There are also some wonderful secondary characters I love as well. Xander, Calder’s best friend, is so supportive and by his side through it all. Even in times that are trying, they say to each other “Whatever I have, you have half” and they truly mean it. Maya, Calder’s sister, is a beautiful girl inside and out and I felt the deep love between her and Calder.

This book is captivating and definitely not one to miss! It does leave you hanging but Finding Eden is the rest of this beautiful story. This is the kind of story that will stay with you long after it’s done.
