From Best Selling Author, Lexy Timms, comes a motorcycle club romance that’ll make you want to buy a Harley and fall in love all over again.
Emily Rose Dougherty is a good Catholic girl from mythical Walkerville, CT. She had somehow managed to get herself into a heap trouble with the law, all because an ex-boyfriend has decided to make things difficult.
Luke “Spade” Wade owns a Motorcycle repair shop and is the Road Caption for Hades’ Spawn MC. He’s shocked when he reads in the paper that his old high school flame has been arrested. She’s always been the one he couldn’t forget.
Will destiny let them find each other again? Or what happens in the past, best left for the history books?
** This is book 1 of the Hades’ Spawn MC Series. All your questions may not be answered in the first book. It may end on a cliff hanger. **
Book 2 coming out in September!!
**Currently FREE on all platforms**
I haven’t read anything by Lexy Timms before, but after seeing that it was an MC book, how could I say no? Plus the synopsis sounded good, so I thought I’d give it a shot.
I’m going to start with Luke (aka Spade) I really liked him a lot! He’s a part of the Hade’s MC, but he’s not your normal biker. He owns his own shop and tries to obey the law as much as a biker can. Though he seems like too good of a guy to be a part of the MC, he gives you this feeling like he has a darker side too. I loved Luke and was rooting for him throughout the story!
Now on to Emily. I was not a fan of her in this story. She wants to live her own life and do her own things, but still let her parents and others around her, dictate what she does. She just really irritated me. She has one of those rare chances at a second chance with your one true love, and she keeps thinking about what others will think. I just wanted to reach into my kindle and slap some sense into her!
Though the story was entertaining, it seemed a little rushed at the end. Not only that, at 70% the story was finished and you were reading excerpts of other books. I’m in love with Luke, so I’ll most likely read the 2nd book, but I’m hoping Emily grows some back bone and tells everyone to fuck off!
