I was provided a copy of Prince of the Press by Selena Laurence for review.

I love stories of “players” finding the one woman to make them rethink their priorities and this one does not disappoint.

Renee is struggling to work full time, take care of her mother who has cancer and look out for her 17-year-old brother. She has too much going on to get involved in any type of relationship, especially with her boss’ younger brother, even if he is good-looking and charming. Marcus has moved up the ladder quickly as a political journalist but while he takes his job seriously, outside of work he likes to let loose with a woman by his side, many different women. Renee has caught his eye but his brother has warned him to stay away, but as Marcus gets to know her more, he finds it increasingly difficult to keep his word with his brother.

Will Renee and Marcus give in to their attraction to each other? Is it still all about the chase for Marcus or does he have genuine feelings for Renee?

I loved this story! I loved the chemistry between Marcus and Renee and the smoking HOT scenes between the two. I enjoyed the sweet side of Marcus and couldn’t help but fall in love with him too. I love everything Selena Laurence writes and this book is no different. I was hooked from the very start until the final page. I look forward to reading more from Selena!
