Synopsis

Claire Ross has never been good enough. Not for the girls in the elite group of dancers in her class and certainly not for the approval of her ballet teacher, Mr. Robins. She definitely doesn’t like what she sees in the mirror. Simply put, she doesn’t love herself, so how could she possibly love someone else?

After twelve years of friendship, Sebastian Reyes’ adoring gaze holds more. They soon find themselves unable to control their feelings for one another.

When tragedy strikes, Claire finds herself in a very unlikely and unfavorable position. Regardless of the weight of the emotion, she must make difficult decisions that impact the rest of her life.

Will Claire see that her true love has been right in front of her? Happily ever after isn’t just for fairy tales. To get hers, all she has to do is trust, open her heart and fall.

AMAZING STORY!! I have read and loved JB McGee’s other books but this one is by far the best!

Claire and Sebastian had a phenomenal love. They had known each other since they were 4 years old and had watched the other bloom into a beautiful young adult. They connected over their mutual love of ballet. Their love and bond to each other was undeniable. And when it ended it was completely gut-wrenching “I’ll love you a second past forever. No one will ever be what you are to me.”

But when Claire later meets Liam at college, she feels an instant chemistry with him.  She takes him up on his offer to accompany her dancing with him playing the piano. Claire doesn’t want to risk any future heartache but after spending time with him, she can’t help feeling herself starting to fall.

Will Claire finally get her happily ever after?

This book is a definite MUST READ!! I fell in love, then my heart was broken and the ugly crying ensued and then I fell in love all over again. I love how JB McGee uses songs that are relevant and familiar to express how the characters are feeling. The music helps Claire connect with Liam and helps her let go of the past enough to move forward. I loved all the feels and the twists and turns in this story!! JB McGee is a truly talented author and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!
