Lucy Fitzpatrick doesn’t like rugby.

OMG!!!! Absolutely adored this book and Lucy and Sean!!! I fell in love with The Hooker and the Hermit, and I didn’t think I could love any man more than I did Ronan, but Sean completely proved me WRONG! For those of you who read the first book, you know Lucy is Ronan’s little sister, and Sean is Ronan’s number 1 enemy. The two rugby players and teammates hate one another. Lucy has, of course, seen Sean around, but the two actually talk to one another at a party one night. Their brief run-in is infuriating yet surprising. Lucy sees something in Sean hardly anyone else sees, and he is surprised by Lucy’s spirit and fire. As the two see more of each other, they discover they have a lot in common. Both have secrets and issues, and they come up with a plan to help one another, yet not develop real feelings…yeah right!!!! I will let you discover those issues and secrets for yourself. I don’t want to spoil a thing for any readers, because the book is just too good for you not to read.
Sean and Lucy really found a special place in my heart. Each projects something they want other people to see, but there is much more depth to both of them. They aren’t anything like others think they are. At times, they don’t feel loved by some members of their family. Although, Ronan adores his sister, but their mother is something else all together. Even though Sean was adopted by a wealthy family, they were cold and unfeeling, except for his cousin, Eilish. Therefore, he’s never really know love and acceptance. I really love when writers surprise you with characters. Sean was the biggest jerk in the first book. He was pompous, arrogant, and could be downright mean! However, Reid and Cosway turned the idea I had of Sean right on its head. I, like Lucy, began to see there was something quite charming and sweet about Sean, even when he was being a jerk. The more walls Sean lets crumble, the more I fell in love with him. Lucy is the perfect girl for him, completely opposite of every woman Sean has slept with, he doesn’t do relationships. She accepts him and doesn’t judge him, yet she calls him out when he lapses into his self-preservation mode. They were a couple I wanted to get their HEA, even if Ronan is going to blow a gasket when he discovers what Lucy has been up to.
Let me just say that Reid and Cosway are an unstoppable force! Their romances are different, and this one especially is. You will know exactly what I’m talking about not long after beginning the book. I was addicted from the very first page. Let me add, the title is the perfect one for this book. I’m so glad to see that Sean’s cousin will be getting her own book! YAY!!! Another great romantic comedy with heart to it, ladies!!!!

SEX! It all started with sex, between my parents. Personally I don’t like thinking about it, but whatever works for you is a-ok with me. No judgment. The sex happened in California and much of my life also occurred in that state until I moved from the land of nuts (almonds), wine, silicon… boobs, and heavy traffic to the southeast US. Like most writers I like to write, but let’s get back to sex. Eventually I married and gave birth to 2 small people-children (boy-6, girl-4 as of this writing).
By day I’m a biomedical researcher with focus on rare diseases. By night I’m a knitter, sewer, lino block carver, fabric printer, soap maker, and general crafter. By the wee hours of the morning or when I’m intoxicated I love to listen to the voices in my head and let them tell me stories. I hope you enjoy their stories.
