A past taboo relationship brought Abbie Moretti’s dreams of an Olympic gold medal crashing to the ground. With a fresh start, her thoughts are no longer consumed by gymnastics and the future she’ll never have.
Emancipation has released Jude Winters from his past, freeing him to go after his dreams. Marlowe, the pop punk band he’s in is taking off and now he’s determined to get the girl.
A major event will change their lives forever. Are Abbie and Jude strong enough to make it through and be free of their demons? Or will the weight of it all be their undoing?
This is the 3rd book of the Marlowe series. If you haven’t read any of the books in this series, you are definitely missing out on a fantastic series!
Jude and Abbie have seemed to be the quiet ones of this series but both really have a lot going on inside that has been difficult to open up about with their friends. Both have felt a connection to each other ever since meeting 6 months prior and are ready to take their relationship to the next level. But with trust issues and secrets still being kept, can these two make it work, even at their young ages?
Both Jude and Abbie are wise beyond their years and have faced a lot of issues teenagers don’t usually deal with. It is heartbreaking at times thinking of the struggles they have had but I think it makes their triumphs that much sweeter. Jude and Abbie make such a cute couple and are devoted to each other and encourage the other’s successes in life. I loved being able to see the other characters/couples from previous books and look forward to Jax’s story! Alexandria has done a wonderful job with this series and continues to grow as an author with each book she publishes. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
