But how can I call him my boyfriend when I already have a husband?

Lucy has been the executive assistant for the CEO at Benson Industries for several years now and feels like she can handle her job pretty well but now that her boss is handing over the reigns to his son, all bets are off. In Cole’s eyes, she can do nothing right. But when she has to help Cole win over some clients, Lucy quickly discovers things aren’t exactly as they would appear. Even though Cole has been rude and callous to her, he is actually quite attracted to her. Although, Lucy is equally attracted to Cole, she feels she cannot cross that line with him because he is not only her boss but she is a married woman…albeit not a happily married one.
As Lucy and Cole continue to work together on projects, it becomes more difficult to deny the chemistry between them. Cole is making her feel things she hasn’t felt in years. Especially as Lucy’s husband continuously ignores her and his hours at work stretch even longer and he starts skipping important family events. Then add in the extended business trips and Lucy is starting to feel very “Conflicted.” What will Lucy decide? Risk her job and her marriage over something that may not last or stay with her husband and work on her marriage that she committed to?
This book caught my interest from the very beginning. Even though there is some cheating, I truly feel it isn’t done on a whim and there’s a lot more to this story than that. This book had the right amount of angst, heat and passion and I am definitely a fan of Lisa Suzanne’s writing. Both of the main characters were very likable and strong characters. If you want a book that is going to keep your interest from beginning to end that is well-written, definitely recommend this one! I will be checking out this author’s other books as well!
