5-star-a

LOVED IT! This is the 2nd book in the Cade Brothers series but can be read as a standalone. I really liked the first book in this series but I LOVED this one!

Wes and Kaylee were college sweethearts and Wes thought they had the perfect relationship until Kaylee up and leaves him without a clue as to what went wrong. His golf game suffered as a result of the break up and he has blamed Kaylee ever since for missing his shot at a pro career. Now he is finally happy again as the golf pro at his family’s resort but when Kaylee walks back into his life engaged to someone else, Wes realizes he has never gotten over her and is ready to find out what happened.

Kaylee loved Wes dearly but always came second to his love for golf. While his focus was elsewhere, Kaylee was suffering in silence without the support of the person she needed the most. She didn’t want to walk away but didn’t feel she was left with any other option. Now she is ready to make amends with her past love before moving on with her fiance’. She just didn’t count on all the leftover feelings and the undeniable chemistry that is still there with Wes.

I loved Kaylee and Wes together!! I loved the change and growth both characters went through and how it made them better as a couple. This book had me on a roller coaster: moments of humor and sweetness, moments of great passion and then moments of sadness – and I loved them all! I love all the Cade brothers and am so excited for the next book in the series!!
