record holder for the longest drive in golf history. The PGA Tour has been my
life, but it’s time for a break. A few relaxing weeks of drinking and golf with
friends in Myrtle Beach is what I need. However, when a bright pink ball knocks
me out on the course, and a blonde beauty comes to my aid, I expect to see a

her friend’s bachelorette weekend and go back to her life, but after injuring

Going For The Hole is a sexy, sweet, and witty romantic comedy.
Lucas and Ashley are not looking for love, but you know how the saying goes, “love finds you when you are least expecting it,” as this couple will soon discover. Lucas is a pro-golfer looking for some rest and relaxation with his brother and his best friend at a resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. Ashley is a successful doctor who is at the same resort for a bachelorette week for her soon to be sister-in-law. She is enjoying being with her best friend, Harper, and having fun again after her cheating ex.
The attraction between these two is evident from their very first meeting. What begins as lust soon turns into something much more. They are perfectly suited to one another. Both are successful, independent, and intelligent. Lucas really respects Ashley, and no woman has every affected him this way. Ashley is one of the only women who doesn’t just fall in love with him immediately because of his fame. In fact, that really turns her off, but as she gets to know the man, she sees a whole different side of him. I loved the sexy and sarcastic banter between the two of them. I enjoyed the romance between them, but I really enjoyed the fact that they really liked each other as people. Not only was there a romance but a mutual respect and friendship.
However, some miscommunication and misunderstandings occur that add some angst and drama to the book. Thankfully, it doesn’t overwhelm the book, and it’s short-lived. There is a great cast of secondary characters who are busy falling in love as well, but it flows very smoothly with the rest of the story.
I loved the setting of the book, but I may be a little partial as I’m a South Carolina girl myself who is living in Georgia. Anytime I can find a book about my home state, I relish in it. Dover did a great job of showing just how special and beautiful the area is, so thank you, LP Dover!
Be sure to read L.P. Dover’s note at the end of the book. It’ a personal note, and I’m even more impressed with her. I love and respect that she has used her words as a way to bring attention to a rare disorder that affects others. Hopefully, this exposure will lead to more research and a way to save lives.

She loves to write, but she also loves to play golf, go on mountain hikes and white water rafting, and has a passion for singing. Her two youngest fans expect a concert each and every night before bedtime, usually Christmas carols.
Dover has written countless novels, including her Forever Fae series, the Second Chances series, the Gloves Off series, the Armed & Dangerous series, the Royal Shifters series, the Society X series, the Circle of Justice series, and her standalone novels It Must’ve Been the Mistletoe and Love, Lies, and Deception. Her favorite genre to read and write is romantic suspense, but if she got to choose a setting in which to live, it would be with her faeries in the Land of the Fae.
