An entertainment journalist was the last thing I thought I would be doing.
I thought once I got my degree, I would be reporting on stories that made a difference, but now all I do is report on who broke up with who and who is dating who.
I was over it.
Then I got my next assignment.
He’s Hollywood’s bad boy.
He works hard, and he plays even harder.
He’s rude, he’s condescending, and he’s made it known he doesn’t want me on the tour.
With one month on the road with him, two things might happen
One, I may never work in this industry again.
Two, I may just be like everyone else and fall for Hollywood’s Playboy.
5 Fantastic Stars for this enemies to lovers romance!!!!
Jessica and Tyler don’t like each other AT ALL!!! Their careers put them at odds with one another…he is Hollywood Royalty, and she is a reporter who gets the scoop on celebrities. He thinks she reports on things that aren’t true, and she thinks that he is rude and nothing but a player. One movie premiere tour will make them reconsider what they thought about one another and may just give them a HEA neither one was expecting.
I love when a writer gives me complicated, complex characters. I love discovering their deeper levels with each chapter I read. Natasha Madison definitely gave me what I was looking for. It was amazing seeing how Jessica and Tyler saw each other. They couldn’t be more wrong in their thinking. I saw that because of the dual POVs the story is told in.
I grew to love their morning runs on the treadmill and then the secret excursions they took. The banter these two had going brought a smile to my face, and I enjoyed watching them get to know one another and the falling in love. They each pushed each other to be the best person they could be, even pushing Jessica to think about pursuing the career she really wanted in journalism.
I also liked how this book was written. I loved going to the different locations around the world that were on the premiere tour. The way Madison described the locales made me feel like I was there with them.
Madison also showed me the darker side of being a celebrity. Yes, Tyler had everything he wanted at his fingertips, but I also saw how he missed doing some things for himself. He also didn’t trust too easily because he had to question people’s motives. Did they like him for Tyler, the superstar or Tyler, the man?
Jessica also learned that things you think are true about a person aren’t always true. Through her, Madison showed us how very little we know about celebrities and who they are as people.
In the past, I haven’t been a fan of Hollywood romances, but Natasha Madison has made me a one! I highly recommend reading this sweet and spicy romance. I know you will fall in love with Jessica and Tyler, just like I did. Be prepared that you won’t be doing anything else until you have finished the last page.
When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
